Black Mens’ Perspective on The Core of Restorative Practice

Please join us as we engage in a lively discussion with 5 Black men in different contexts, walking Restoratively at the home front with family, through meditation and yoga, on the sports field, in business, providing health and mental wellness and even the U.S. Court.
How and why have these men chosen to create a Restorative climate inside of institutions that have a history of violence against Black men and what tools are they using to keep the fire for this practice alive outside of the Talking Circle?
There are many benefits to using Restorative Practice and values outside of the context of the Talking Circle. Come and learn the ways in which the values have become essential in the lives of these men; how they have decided to take them into every context with them. What are the barriers and rewards of participating in this counterculture practice and value system?
